MultiMedia Dental Systems provides turnkey solutions by providing both Hardware and Software for our clients.
All Hardware is covered by a 3-year on-site service warranty and supported by a national service organization
that is second to none.
Our clients that have made the decision to purchase hardware directly from us have had tremendous success
in addressing any and all hardware issues and concerns.
The fact of having One Call support for all hardware and software related issues, is a great benefit for
your practice and your staff.
MultiMedia Dental Systems does not require the practice to purchase hardware from us. We will
provide your practice with our minimum as well as our recommended specs in order to provide your practice
with the proper information needed to make a qualified choice, free of charge.
If a practice does prefer to purchase hardware from another source, we will provide, and work with the
hardware technicians giving them detailed information needed in configuring the hardware installation to insure
that our system will run at optimum performance.
Any deviation from our requirements, the practice will be charged an additional installation and
configuration fee.
Our objective is to minimize the concerns of the staff when it comes to all computer related technologies
in your practice by providing superior business computers and top-notch service.
In the past five years, MultiMedia Dental Systems has maintained the lowest downtime percentage in the
dental industry to date. We have had the luxury of an over 99% up time!!! In our worst-case scenario, a
hard drive failure on the server, clients that have purchased hardware directly from MultiMedia Dental
Systems were back up and running within hours.

Minimum Network Server Specs.

MediaDent SQL is an advanced database application. The crux of the application is a strong server.
If the server is not up to par, the application suffers for all users.
Below are the minimum specs. for a network server to run MediaDent SQL. This
machine is not used as a workstation.
- Intel Pentium III Processor
- 1GB RAM
- Video Card capable of 1152x864 resolution and 32bit color
- 24x CD-Rom
- Onboard Single Gigabit Network Adapter
- 80GB Hard Drive
- Suitable Backup Device and Plan
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Later
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- High Speed Internet Access (DSL, Cable, or T1)
- Remote Access via Terminal Services or NetSupport Manager
- Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5
Note: MediaDent Digital Imaging v5.0 will only operate on Windows XP
Professional or Windows 2003.

Recommended Network Server Specs.

Below are the minimum specs for a peer-to-peer server to run MediaDent SQL.
It is important to remember that in addition to serving other workstations, this machine will also be
used as a workstation.
